Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager in Venice, FL to lead safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance. The role partners with operations, HR, and leadership to reduce risk, improve safety performance, and develop employee competency.

Responsibilities include training ownership, incident investigations, corrective actions, and maintaining emergency plans. A CSP or related credentials are preferred; 5+ years of EHS in manufacturing is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in safety/engineering discipline.
• 5+ years EHS experience in manufacturing or related industry.
• 2+ years leading EHS function or team.
• Experience managing site-level EHS programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS training programs and track competency.
• Coordinate EHS training with internal and external providers.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain emergency plans and coordinate drills with responders.
• Drive safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance across the facility.
