Job summary

At Mactac Scranton, PA facility, the EHS Manager will lead the Environmental, Health and Safety program to ensure a safe, compliant workplace for our associates. You will provide leadership, direction and training to minimize risk and ensure adherence to federal, state and local regulations.

You will drive injury prevention, conduct audits, manage permits (air emissions, stormwater), develop budgets, and lead safety training and emergency planning to support Mactac's Goal Zero mission and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or related field.
• EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Subject matter expert on health and safety regulations and standards.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication skills to build a safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive safety programs fostering a safety-first culture within the facility.
• Lead injury prevention through risk assessments and audits, corrective actions, and implementation of safety programs.
• Oversee incident and injury investigations and reporting for the facility.
• Lead employee training and engagement initiatives on safety practices.
• Manage permits (air emission, stormwater) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and manage annual EHS budget and lead improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain emergency response and contingency plans.
