Job summary

McKinstry is seeking an EHS Director to lead safety strategy for our Modular Products division in Spokane, WA. You will build and coach a team of safety professionals, partner with operations leadership, and embed safety into fabrication operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in EHS within manufacturing, strong planning skills, CSP/CIH preferred, OSHA 30+, and a track record of advancing safety programs across multiple shops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CIH preferred; OSHA 30-Hour required.
• Experience in manufacturing and safety strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety strategy and multi-site programs.
• Develop and implement required safety changes.
• Oversee safety plans, audits, and compliance with OSHA/EPA.
• Manage safety team and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering.
• Lead risk assessments and incident investigations.
