Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Department Manager to lead a high-performing tufting/warehouse manufacturing operation in Cartersville, GA. You will develop frontline leaders and drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance in a fast-paced production environment.

The candidate will coach a leadership team, establish clear goals, and champion Lean, TPM, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering with HR on talent and succession planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Manufacturing leadership experience, including supervisory roles.
• Strong communication skills to engage associates, leaders, and cross-functional partners at all levels.
• Ability to lead teams and drive operational performance across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of department performance including Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost.
• Develop, coach, and support a leadership team consisting of Team Managers and Process Engineering resources.
• Establish operational goals and lead initiatives that improve performance and deliver business results.
• Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across the department.
