Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Tufting Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a 2nd shift team in carpet tile production in Cartersville, GA. Emphasis on safety, quality, and team development will guide daily work and coaching.

The role manages group and one-to-one discussions, communicates goals, and develops knowledge of carpet manufacturing processes and equipment. Strong leadership and actionable coaching are essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within the most recent 5 years.
• 4 year degree or High School Diploma/GED and Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Partnership with Plant Management, Human Resources, and all Team Members will be vital.
• Team Manager will act as a facilitator to aid associates in examining and improving the ways in which they work together to achieve better results.
• This position should also develop and maintain a firm working knowledge of the carpet manufacturing processes and the equipment and procedures it contains.
• This will be accomplished through managing group and one-to-one discussions, applying coaching and corrective action when necessary, and communicating the goals and direction of the team.
