Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift at our Cartersville, GA facility. You will partner with plant management and team members to drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement in carpet tile production.

This role requires a 4-year degree or HS diploma with leadership experience, plus the ability to coach and develop a manufacturing team. The 8-hour non-rotating shift runs PM, with a schedule observed on the calendar.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or High School Diploma/GED with leadership experience.
• Leadership experience within the most recent 5 years.
• Ability to guide and coach a manufacturing team toward safety and quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant Management, HR, and Team Members to drive performance.

Shaw Industries is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to support a 2nd shift manufacturing process for a success facility in Cartersville, GA. This position will manage a 2nd shift Team as they strive to produce quality carpet tile in an accident free environment. This will be accomplished through a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and team development. Position Responsibilities

• Partnership with Plant Management, Human Resources, and all Team Members will be vital.
• Team Manager will act as a facilitator to aid associates in examining and improving the ways in which they work together to achieve better results.
• This will be accomplished through managing group and one-to-one discussions, applying coaching and corrective action when necessary, and communicating the goals and direction of the team.
• This position should also develop and maintain a firm working knowledge of the carpet manufacturing processes and the equipment and procedures it contains.
