Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to provide administrative, reporting, and project support across Production and Maintenance teams. You will manage data in MES and SAP, maintain records, and prepare operational reports in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with Excel; experience with MES and SAP is preferred. On-site role with regular attendance and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework related to computer applications preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment performing administrative, reporting, or data management work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain coil data within the MES, including troubleshooting data discrepancies.
• Organize vendor bills of lading (BOLs) and corresponding tags and documentation.
• Input and maintain data within SAP to support accurate recordkeeping.
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports to support multiple teams.
• Coordinate with BNSF Railroad to track inbound coil inventory.
• Assist Maintenance with parts documentation, data creation, and record management.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports; maintain action logs.
• Support purchasing activities through documentation management; collaborate across departments.
