Job summary

Ideal Tridon is seeking a Customer Service Representative for the TN Strut Plant in Smyrna, TN. This full-time role acts as a liaison, entering orders in the ERP system and coordinating with the Production Scheduler to determine new ship dates while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The CSR will handle inquiries, troubleshoot issues, manage credits and RMAs, and build strong relationships with customer accounts.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service (3+ years), preferably in a Manufacturing environment.
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Excel & creating spreadsheet.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls.
• Enter customers orders in our ERP system accurately and efficiently.
• Enter Credits, create RMAs in our ERP system.
• Work with Production Scheduler to determine new ship dates for customers.
• Work with Freight carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open communication.
• Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas.
• Handle customer complaints, provide solutions and follow up to ensure resolution.
