Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant in Sharon, MA to lead cost and margin analysis, inventory oversight, and Oracle-based monthly close. You will collaborate with planning, supply chain and operations to improve profitability and reporting accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing cost accounting, strong Excel and Oracle skills, and CMA preferred. A rewarding benefits package supports work-life balance and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CMA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Strong margin analysis and Oracle proficiency; excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost, inventory, and sales analysis for data-driven decisions.
• Participate in monthly close; prepare journal entries for Revenue, Cost of Sales, and Inventory modules in Oracle.
• Prepare post-closing inventory analyses and reconciliations to GL.
• Perform detailed cost and margin analysis to drive margin improvement.
• Collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain and Operations to optimize inventory.
• Prepare key manufacturing metrics monthly and highlight trends.
• Develop sales forecasts using actuals, backlog, and projections.
• Oversee cycle counts, physical inventory and variance analysis.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analyses to support initiatives.
