Job Details

Responsibilities:

• 1. Leading the cost accounting function including the development and maintenance of standard costs, bill of materials, and cost analysis.
• 2. Preparing and analyzing weekly and monthly financial reports, including variance analysis, margin analysis, and costing reports.
• 3. Overseeing inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation, and implementing robust inventory controls.
• 4. Conducting regular forecasts and budgeting exercises, identifying trends and variances, and presenting findings to senior management.
• 5. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• 6. Leveraging SAP and Power BI to automate processes and generate insightful financial reports.
• 7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiencies and improve profitability.
• 8. Participating in special projects and performing ad hoc analyses as required.

Qualifications:

• 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA designation is strongly preferred.
• 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting within the manufacturing industry, ideally within the food and beverage sector.
• 3. In-depth knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• 4. Proficiency in SAP and Power BI.
• 5. Proven experience in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports and forecasts.
• 6. Strong understanding of accounting inventory controls.
• 7. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• 8. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• 9. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.
• 10. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing a team and driving performance.
