Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent Cost Accountant to join our manufacturing team in Wisconsin. You will provide critical financial insight, support month-end close, analyze gross margins by product and customer type, and coordinate with IT and operations to optimize cost performance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management on

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
5+ years of related experience.
Knowledge of GAAP and Cost Accounting Standards.
Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by product, by customer type.
Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory evaluation, inventory roll forward.
Coordinate with IT department for system issues and development across production, purchasing, accounts payable/receivable, and related areas.
Analyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
Maintain internal control documentation and test internal controls.
Prepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, cost and inventory, by customer type and division.
Review inventory and margin reports; conduct cost analyses and profitability studies.
