Job summary

Precision Recruiting Solutions Group is seeking a Cost Accountant for a manufacturing environment in Franklin, PA. You will partner with the Plant Controller on cost accounting, inventory accuracy, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities include month-end reports, budget analysis, variance investigations, and internal control improvements. Strong Excel/ERP proficiency and manufacturing accounting experience are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Prepare month-end financial reports.
Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Analyze actual costs versus budget and investigate variances.
Maintain and improve cost accounting controls and procedures.
Perform inventory reporting, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
Reconcile general ledger accounts related to sales, inventory, costs, and liabilities.
Conduct gross margin analysis and provide management reporting.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Support additional accounting and finance projects as needed.
