Job summary

Precision Recruiting Solutions Group® (PRSG®) is seeking a Cost Accountant to support manufacturing finance. You will partner with the Plant Controller to manage cost accounting, inventory accuracy, gross margin analysis, and internal controls.

Responsibilities include month-end close, budgeting support, variance analysis, and audits. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting/finance and 3+ years in manufacturing accounting, with ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Manufacturing accounting experience required.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end financial reports.
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Analyze actual costs versus budget and investigate variances.
• Maintain and improve cost accounting controls and procedures.
• Perform inventory reporting, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts related to sales, inventory, costs, and liabilities.
• Conduct gross margin analysis and provide management reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Support additional accounting and finance projects as needed.
