Job summary

Augmentis Group is recruiting for a cost accountant role within a manufacturing environment. You will partner with Operations to control costs, manage cost accounting activities, and ensure GAAP compliance and accurate standard costs.

The position offers relocation assistance and growth opportunities in a globally recognized supplier. Ideal candidates have a BA in accounting/finance and at least two years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing, with strong Excel and ERP knowledge to

Qualifications

• BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• +2 years of Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expert skills in financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
• Ability to coordinate multiple ongoing projects within targeted timelines and costs.
• Knowledge of Infor Visual Manufacturing and Infor Global Financials is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Operations Management and other departments to improve cost efficiency and margins.
• Manage cost accounting transactions to ensure GAAP compliance and company costing policies.
• Ensure inventory valuation accuracy through correct costing and cycle counts.
• Assist in preparing daily and monthly P&Ls and margin analyses for management.
• Lead annual physical inventories and support ERP upgrades and LEAN initiatives.
