Precision Recruiting Solutions Group is seeking a Cost Accountant for a manufacturing environment in Franklin, PA. You will partner with the Plant Controller on cost accounting, inventory accuracy, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities include month-end reports, budget analysis, variance investigations, and internal control improvements. Strong Excel/ERP proficiency and manufacturing accounting experience are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end financial reports.
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Analyze actual costs versus budget and investigate variances.
• Maintain and improve cost accounting controls and procedures.
• Perform inventory reporting, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts related to sales, inventory, costs, and liabilities.
• Conduct gross margin analysis and provide management reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Support additional accounting and finance projects as needed.
