Job summary

Leoforce seeks an experienced Cost Accounting Manager in Tampa to lead cost accounting, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, and drive cost insights. You will manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while partnering with production to optimize manufacturing costs.

A strong background in manufacturing, SAP, and leadership is essential for success. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years in cost accounting, and preferably a CPA or advanced degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in food & beverage industry is highly desirable.
• Proficient in GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cost accounting function ensuring GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports with cost trend analysis.
• Develop forecasting models for future costs and revenues.
• Manage annual budgeting with department heads.
• Monitor aged inventory, rebates accruals, and scrap factor calculations.
• Collaborate with production to analyze manufacturing costs.
• Utilize SAP to track cost data and generate reports.
• Implement cost accounting best practices and process improvements.
• Provide financial guidance to senior management to improve profitability.
