Job summary

Palmetto State Armory is hiring a Corporate Recruiter to develop and implement recruiting strategies for the organization. You will guide the Recruiting Assistant, meet weekly to review openings, and coordinate high-volume interviews and on-site hiring events with agencies.

You will engage with schools and community partners to create pipelines for future talent while ensuring compliance with employment laws and efficient use of ATS/HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4-6 years of exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in a full lifecycle environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to establish cooperative relationships built on trust.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
• Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
• Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.

Responsibilities

• Work with department managers to develop and implement new recruiting strategies.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to the Recruiting Assistant.
• Meet weekly with the Recruiting Assistant to review open positions and progress.
• Conduct hiring events with outside agencies.
• Build pipelines with local schools and community partners.
• Coordinate on-site hiring events and manage interviews and pre-employment steps.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
