Job summary

ODL is seeking a Production Team Leader who plans and directs daily activities to meet production goals while upholding safety, quality, and operational standards. You will audit work, train teammates, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across molding, assembly, and shipping/receiving functions.

The role requires strong problem solving, leadership, and communication skills, with ability to lift 50 pounds and operate standard office/computer tools.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrates problem-solving and scientific thinking.
• Leads and motivates others effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using Computer tools (Email, Excel, MRP).
• Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure and changing workloads.
• Capacity to teach others and build strong relationships.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Audit team member work hourly to ensure SOPs and checklists are followed.
• Train and coach team members to back up other roles and grow.
• Assist in creating/updating standard operating procedures and checklists.
• Highlight issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure resources meet scheduling demands and report imbalances.
• Lead continuous improvement activities and support safety, quality, productivity, and cost goals.
• Oversee quality checks in molding and assembly areas and manage breaks.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving, document handling, and KPI reporting.
