Job summary

Big Rock Machining is seeking a Manufacturing Coordinator to serve as the information link among Program Management, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and Estimating. You will convert approved customer requirements into accurate ERP records and production documents so work can be reviewed, scheduled, released, purchased, built, and verified with confidence.

The role uses ProShop for parts, routers, and work orders, supports contract review and production release, controls manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing coordination or planning roles is preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate, traceable records in ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for coordinating across departments.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain part records, routers, bills of materials, work orders in ProShop.
• Verify drawings, specifications, revisions, and documents are linked to correct records.
• Support contract reviews by gathering requirements and resolving missing information.
• Prepare data for production release including ERP data, routes, purchasing needs, and approvals.
• Maintain controlled production documentation and ensure traceability and revision control.
• Coordinate information and priorities across departments for consistent data.
