Job summary

Redmont Talent Partners is partnering with a family owned manufacturing company in Leeds, AL to hire a Controller who will oversee all financial management and reporting.

You will manage the general ledger, close processes, budgeting, forecasts, and cash flow while ensuring accuracy and strong internal controls in a GAAP framework. You will also coordinate IT needs with a third-party provider to support secure operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with general ledger management and month-end/year-end close.
• Budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost analysis in manufacturing.
• Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and Excel for reporting.
• Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audits coordination.
• Leadership experience overseeing accounting staff and cross-department collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the general ledger and financial reporting processes.
• Close month-end and year-end, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor cash flow, develop budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments on finance-related initiatives.
