Job summary

Qualifications

• CPA certification active/in good standing.
• 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading audits and strengthening internal controls.
• Background in project-based, construction, service, or similar environments with exposure to job costing and margin/WIP concepts.
• Experience improving financial processes and/or optimizing ERP/accounting systems to increase accuracy, speed, and visibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance and accounting function, including financial strategy, forecasting, cash flow, and executive-level reporting.
• Oversee core accounting operations (GL, AP, AR) and ensure accurate, timely month-end close and financial statements.
• Strengthen internal controls and audit readiness, ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
• Partner with operational leaders to improve job costing, billing accuracy, WIP/margin visibility, and KPI reporting across business lines.
• Drive process improvement and modernization of finance systems and workflows, with a focus on automation and better visibility.
