Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Controller in Anaheim, CA to lead financial reporting, budgeting, and treasury activities for a growing manufacturing company. The role requires directing month-end close, ensuring GAAP compliance, and coordinating audits with external firms.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing, a CPA is preferred, and experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 12+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with SAP/Oracle and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor cash flows and ensure liquidity for operations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Coordinate audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance with tax regulations.
• Manage and mentor accounting team and drive process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
