Job summary

ABBA Roller in Ontario, CA seeks a Controller to manage financial analysis and accounting operations, ensuring GAAP compliance and robust internal controls. The role reports to the VP & General Manager and coordinates with shared services for close processes and reporting.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years in accounting, 5+ years as a Controller in manufacturing, and strong ERP/Excel skills. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in accounting.
• Minimum 5 years as a Controller or equivalent, preferably in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations including A/R, A/P, G/L, Inventory/Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Oversee monthly close process with analytical review of results.
• Conduct costing analyses: material costs, labor/overhead, variances, and profitability reporting.
• Coordinate inventory accuracy: cycle counts, WIP, and reserves.
• Manage capital projects and forecast cash flow impact.
• Assist in annual budget and forecasts; prepare financial statements.
• Support external audit and tax filings.
