Job summary

Employbridge's client is seeking a Manufacturing Controller in Texas to lead the regional financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and accounting controls.

The successful candidate will drive financial performance, partner with site leadership, develop a high-performing accounting team, and ensure compliance across multi-site manufacturing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience within a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Finance Manager capacity.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or multi-site operations.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
• Proven ability to partner with business leaders and drive financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct all accounting and financial activities for the division.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators and provide recommendations to improve results.
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
• Analyze operating results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and capital investments.
• Deliver meaningful reporting and business insights to leadership.
• Maintain a strong control environment and financial governance framework.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.

Who You Are:

Required

Nice to Have:

• CPA and/or CMA certification.
• Experience within multi-entity or multi-location organizations.
• ERP system experience, including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Advanced reporting and business intelligence experience, including Power BI.
• Track record of process improvement and transformation initiatives.
