Ambient Recruiting seeks an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations in a manufacturing setting. You will oversee the general ledger, month-end close, and reporting while partnering with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and process improvements.

The role emphasizes internal controls, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with operations, engineering, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations including general ledger and month-end close.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure tax compliance and liaise with auditors.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Monitor KPIs and assist with budgeting/forecasting.
• Develop staff and collaborate with operations and leadership.
