Pathway Talent Partners is assisting a growing manufacturing company in search of a Controller to lead the accounting function in Grand Rapids, WI. You will oversee the month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting, while partnering with leadership to drive profitability and strategic planning.

The role requires strong experience in manufacturing environments, ERP systems, and the ability to deliver actionable financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience including leadership roles.
• Ability to partner with operational leaders and provide financial insights.
• Experience preparing and presenting financial and operational data.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor accounting team; hands-on contributor to department performance.
• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning with leadership.
• Coordinate tax compliance, reporting, and audit activities with external CPA partners.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and vendor payments; cash management support.
• Administer ERP systems; drive system enhancements and process improvements.
• Develop insights to improve cost control and operational efficiency.
