Job summary

Ledgent-Finance- seeks a Controller for a manufacturing environment who will lead the accounting and finance team, manage close processes, and drive internal controls. The successful candidate will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning, while partnering with executive leadership to provide strategic financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting and finance leadership experience.
• 4+ years of direct management experience.
• Strong manufacturing industry experience required.
• ERP systems experience with leadership in ERP transitions.
• Eligible to work in ITAR environment: U.S. Citizen, Green Card Holder, or Asylee/Refugee.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting and finance department, including direct supervision of accounting staff.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning activities.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies throughout the finance function.
• Lead and support ERP system implementations, upgrades, and transitions.
• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance within an ITAR-regulated environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and other business units to support company objectives
