Job summary

Atlantic Group in Montgomery County, PA seeks a Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close in a manufacturing/consumer products environment. You will oversee audits, strengthen controls, and partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA, and hands-on external audit leadership, with strong Excel and ERP system skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA is required; 8+ years accounting experience.
• Recent manufacturing or consumer products experience; 2+ years of financial audit and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis while ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, financial records, and internal controls to support accurate and timely reporting.
• Coordinate financial audit activities, prepare supporting documentation, and address accounting and reporting requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to accounting professionals while strengthening accountability and day-to-day accounting processes.
• Partner across the organization to resolve accounting matters, improve financial processes, and support reporting and special projects.
