Atlantic Group is seeking a Senior Accountant in Montgomery County, PA to support general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, and audit activities within a manufacturing and consumer products environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, including the manufacturing or consumer products sector, with strong US GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills. This is an in-office, full-time role based in Montgomery County, PA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in financial audit.
• Manufacturing or consumer products accounting experience with US GAAP.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ERP experience and exposure to system implementations or migrations preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepaids, deferrals, and supporting schedules to facilitate accurate monthly and year-end close.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare recurring financial reports and analysis while supporting domestic and international accounting activities.
• General Ledger: Maintain general ledger accuracy, perform account reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and ensure financial information complies with US GAAP.
• Intercompany Accounting: Support intercompany reporting, reconciliations, master data maintenance, and related accounting activities across business operations.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation, researching accounting matters, and responding to audit requests.
• Process Improvement: Partner cross-functionally to address accounting issues, improve processes, support ERP initiatives, and complete special accounting projects.

This role will support domestic and international accounting operations while partnering across the organization to maintain accurate financial reporting and strengthen accounting processes. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience with recent manufacturing or consumer products industry experience and a strong knowledge of US GAAP.

Responsibilities as the Senior Accountant
