Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. in Jessup, MD is seeking a Business Development Manager – Manufacturing to accelerate profitable growth by developing new customers, applications, and project opportunities across targeted manufacturing segments in the southeastern United States.

You will coordinate internal resources, communicate with technical and executive stakeholders, and build long-term relationships with plant leadership, engineering teams, and channel partners while delivering integrated

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or strategic account management in industrial equipment or manufacturing markets.
• Strong understanding of industrial cooling and heat-rejection systems.
• Ability to analyze markets, opportunities, and capital-project dynamics.
• Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder ecosystems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth by identifying new customers and applications in assigned markets.
• Execute business development plans for priority manufacturing verticals (semiconductors, automotive, life sciences, etc.).
• Identify strategic accounts, map stakeholders, and convert prospects into BAC customers.
• Build relationships with plant leadership, engineering teams, utilities, EPCs, and designers.
• Collaborate with regional sales, channel partners, and product teams to deliver solutions.
• Translate customer needs into tailored cooling solutions and capture VOC insights.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations, highlighting lifecycle value and total cost of ownership.
• Influence project designs and secure basis-of-design status for opportunities.
• Develop account strategies, bids, and pipelines; support negotiations and first orders.
• Maintain a qualified pipeline, forecasts, and KPIs for growth and revenue.
• Provide market intelligence to support commercial strategy and BD priorities.
• Represent BAC at meetings, trade shows, and market events.
