Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineer with a focus in Manufacturing to join our team in Costa Mesa. You will build and maintain software for Sentry Tower systems, develop automated test suites, and create user-friendly interfaces to help non-technical users verify hardware and diagnose issues.

Every tower we ship passes through this software, the last check to catch defects on the factory floor.

Qualifications

Experience building test automation, instrumentation, or tooling for hardware.
Proficiency in Python for test and tooling work, plus 2+ years in Rust or C++.
Solid grasp of networking principles (CAN and Ethernet) and hardware interfacing.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools (Wireshark, CANoe) and cybersecurity basics as they relate to sensor data.
Engineering degree in CS/SE/Math/Physics or related field.
US person status with eligibility for US security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop automated test suites to verify hardware functionality and performance.
Create user-friendly interfaces to aid issue diagnosis for non-technical users.
Implement robust error-capturing mechanisms to provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with hardware and quality assurance teams for seamless tool integration.
Work directly with technicians and manufacturing engineers who use the tooling on shifts.
Continuously improve testing frameworks to enhance efficiency and reliability.
