Job description

Compensation: $47.12 - $49.00 per hour.

Role Overview

Based in East Moline, IL, this Assembly Manufacturing Engineer position for the Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) team involves providing technical support and troubleshooting for the Front-End Equipment and Cab division.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive manufacturing efficiency and process quality by identifying and executing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety and ergonomics.
• Develop and maintain essential production documentation, including Operator Methods Sheets (OMS), work center layouts, assembly fixtures, torque tools, and sequences of events (SOE).
• Utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SAP to manage engineering tasks and establish robust process controls.
• Ensure daily production targets are achieved by maintaining consistent attendance and supporting line operations.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to all PPE requirements, including safety glasses, bump caps, face masks, metatarsal boots, ear plugs, and gloves.
• Collaborate directly with colleagues on the shop floor for the majority of your shift.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Leverage MES platforms to implement and monitor process controls.
• Utilize emerging manufacturing tech or smart tooling, such as IR, Atlas Copco, process automation, digital tools, or CVML.
• Optimize production by applying visual management tools, material presentation strategies, cycles of imbalance, and line design.

Compensation and Benefits

The standard hourly rate for this position is $47.12 - $49.00. Non-exempt staff receive 1.5x overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 per week, subject to local or state regulations. Final salary offers are based on your specific education, experience, and relevant skills.
