Job summary

Aditi Consulting seeks an Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) Assembly Manufacturing Engineer in East Moline, IL to support and troubleshoot for Front-End Equipment and Cab operations.

You will identify improvement projects, establish SOE and OMS, work with SAP and MES on controls, and help the production line meet daily goals while following PPE requirements.

Summary

As an Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) Assembly Manufacturing Engineer in East Moline, IL, you will provide Assembly Manufacturing Engineer support and troubleshooting for current operations in the Front-End Equipment and Cab business unit.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects impacting safety and ergonomics, process quality, and manufacturing efficiency for the department.
• Establish sequence of events (SOE), work center layouts, torque tools, assembly fixturing, and Operator Methods Sheets (OMS) for current operations.
• Work with SAP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to perform engineering functions and develop manufacturing process controls.
• Consistently arrive on time and support the production line until daily production goals are met.
• Work safely while wearing all required PPE (Bump cap, face mask, ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves, metatarsal boots).
• Spend a significant majority of the shift in a shop floor environment working directly with other team members.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience in one or more related engineering areas: industrial, reliability, design, manufacturing, or quality.
• Self-starter with the ability to execute a variety of tasks autonomously.
• Problem-solving mindset with a bias toward taking action.
• Experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline.

Skills

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and experience working in a production environment.
• Experience with shop floor documentation (SOE, Labor Standards, and OMS).
• Experience working in a union environment.
• Experience with utilizing MES systems for process controls.
• Experience with smart tooling (Atlas Copco, IR, Client, etc.), or emerging manufacturing technologies (CVML, digital tools, process automation).
• Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance, and visual management tools.

Pay Transparency

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is:$47.12 - $49.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
