Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is seeking an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer in Wisconsin for a 2-year W2 contract. The role centers on hands-on shop-floor support, issue troubleshooting, and coordinating with wage and production staff to resolve line problems.

The ideal candidate may hold an engineering degree; an HS diploma with 3 years of engineering experience is acceptable. First shift is 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with potential off-shift coverage and overtime.

Qualifications

• Must work on the shop floor for significant portion of time.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to learn and engage in process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Spend approximately 50% of the day working on the shop floor.
• Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs, though this will be infrequent.
• Problem solving and trouble shooting skills are essential.
• Excellent communication skills for all levels of organization.
• The role involves direct line support for production employees
• and communicating project progress to management.
• Knowledge of assembly processes and tooling is highly preferred.
• May drive a JD Gator inside the factory after completing training.
• May drive a personal vehicle to other facilities for meetings as needed.
• Metatarsal shoes are required for the first day.

Title: Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Duration: 2 years

Type – W2 contract (No C2C)

• Communication Skills: Will be on shop floor working with wage and production employees' helping with troubleshooting. Working within a team.
• Problem Solving: Be comfortable working in high pressure situation - Being able to work through challenges.
• Initiative: Someone that has ambition, eager to learn, is highly engaged.

Education: Prefer Engineering Degree - but open to HS Diploma with minimum 3 years engineer experience. Also open to new grads that has completed engineer internships.

Shift:

• 1st shift: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
• **Note: Role may require support or transition to off-shift.**
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
