PDS Tech Commercial in Athens, GA is hiring Manufacturing Assemblers for HVAC unit production in a climate-controlled plant. You will assemble components, set up equipment, perform maintenance, and inspect quality to ensure safety and productivity.

This role offers a $16/hour pay rate with a 5am–3:30pm schedule, Monday to Thursday, with possible overtime on Fridays due to business demands. No education verification required and a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely use hand tools and battery-operated tools.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Able to bend, stoop, squat and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, safety-focused and eager to learn.
• No education verification required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components for installation on refrigeration units.
• Set up equipment, operate, adjust, and perform minor preventive maintenance.
• Conduct assembly and inspection to meet quality standards.
• Run tests on assemblies and equipment to verify safety and productivity.
• Complete work within established cycle times.
• Use hand and power tools as required.
• Assemble hardware using clamps, clips, and brackets.
• Maintain shop supplies, floor stock, and production tools.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Maintain departmental quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Assemble components for installation on refrigeration units.
• Perform equipment setup, operation, equipment adjustments, and minor preventive maintenance.
• Conduct assembly and inspection processes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Run tests on assemblies and equipment to verify safety and productivity before production.
• Complete work within established cycle times.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools
• Assemble hardware using clamps, clips, and brackets.
• Maintain shop supplies, floor stock, and production tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain departmental quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
