Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN in Broadview, IL is seeking a Mechanical Assembler with hands-on mechanical and electrical skills to build industrial equipment.

You will assemble pumps, filtration systems, coolant systems and related equipment using hand, power, and pneumatic tools, wire and test units, and verify materials against orders. This is a first-shift, full-time role with weekly pay and potential for temp-to-hire.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience; ability to read basic assembly instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and reading assembly instructions.

Mechanical Assembler | Automotive & HVAC Experience Encouraged to Apply!

Put your hands-on mechanical skills to work with a company that builds industrial equipment used across a variety of industries! We're looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working with tools, assembling products, and troubleshooting equipment. Automotive technicians, mechanics, HVAC installers/technicians, and mechanically minded manufacturing professionals have been especially successful in this role.

Open Position: Mechanical Assembler

$19.88/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

What You'll Do

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand, power, and pneumatic tools
• Build pumps, filtration systems, coolant systems, and related industrial equipment
• Wire and test completed units to ensure proper functionality
• Read job orders and verify materials for accuracy before assembly
• Rotate between workstations as production needs require

What We're Looking For

• Automotive mechanic, technician, maintenance, HVAC, or similar mechanical experience preferred
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and reading basic assembly instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment
• Reliable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship
