Job summary

High Country Search Group is assisting a growing manufacturing company in Westminster, CO to hire an Accounting Manager. This on-site role reports to the Director of Finance and partners with the VP of Finance, operations, and sales to strengthen the accounting function and streamline close processes.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in manufacturing accounting, strong cost accounting expertise, and a degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting or closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, cost of goods, and close processes.
• Experience leading or supporting month-end and year-end closes.
• Ability to work with finance, operations, and sales teams cross-functionally.
• Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support core accounting operations in a manufacturing environment, including month-end and year-end close activities.
• Apply knowledge of cost accounting and cost of goods to improve reporting accuracy.
• Partner with Director of Finance and VP of Finance to oversee multi-location accounting activities.
• Collaborate with operations and sales teams to align financial needs with business goals.
• Contribute to driving timely, accurate closed processes and broader leadership readiness.
