Job summary

DeWys Metal Solutions Company is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting across its family of businesses, owning the financial close, accounting operations, reporting, internal controls, and inventory costing.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will develop the accounting team, partner with leaders, and drive process improvements to enable informed decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• CPA designation or progress toward certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple entities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, GL activity, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Oversee inventory and product costing accuracy; manage cost variances.
• Support external audits, tax activities, and financial reporting requirements.
• Develop and enforce accounting procedures across the organization.
• Coach and develop the accounting team; partner with business leaders.
