Job summary

Deist Industries, LLC is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team at Bucks Fabrication in Hadley, PA. This onsite role reports to the Controller and oversees AP, AR, GL, and cost accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

The role supports month-end/year-end close, product costing, and continuous improvement across accounting processes, with responsibility for audits and SOX documentation where applicable.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; professional certifications (CPA, CMA, MBA) are a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and month-end close processes.
• 3+ years of manufacturing accounting experience required.
• ERP experience with NetSuite and/or Oracle preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and cost accounting.
• Oversee vendor invoices, customer invoicing, collections, cash applications, and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and related schedules.
• Maintain GAAP-compliant accounting records and internal controls.
• Assist with manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance reporting.
• Support internal and external audits and SOX documentation where applicable.
• Drive process improvements and cross-department collaboration.
