Job summary

DeWys Manufacturing is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting across its family of businesses, including DeWys Manufacturing and related units. This hands-on leader will own the financial close, reporting, and inventory costing while partnering with leaders to drive informed decisions.

The role requires a strong accounting foundation, manufacturing cost experience, and leadership prowess to mentor the accounting team and implement process improvements across ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA designation or progress toward certification preferred.
• Five+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Manufacturing experience including inventory and cost accounting.
• Experience with ERP or financial accounting systems.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on leadership and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across the DeWys businesses.
• Own preparation and review of financial statements and general ledger activity.
• Oversee inventory costing, standard costs, and manufacturing variance reporting.
• Develop reports and dashboards for leadership to drive decisions.
• Strengthen accounting controls and ERP system improvements.
• Coach and develop the accounting team and partner with department leaders.
