Job summary

McKinstry, based in Spokane, WA, seeks an Accounting Lead - Manufacturing to lead manufacturing-driven financial processes and system integrations for rapid growth. You will translate production activity into scalable accounting practices across P2P, inventory, billings, and cash flow and partner with the Controller to meet accounting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 8+ years accounting experience with 5+ years in manufacturing or operationally complex environments.
• Public accounting audit experience preferred, with exposure to internal controls and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and manufacturing accounting incl. inventory and cost accounting.
• Experience with manufacturing ERP/MRP implementations, system integrations, and finance transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance & accounting for manufacturing and ERP initiatives, ensuring accounting is embedded in system design.
• Develop and optimize accounting processes for manufacturing workflows (P2P, inventory, costing, close).
• Own billing, cash application, and financial module close activities.
• Ensure data integrity and internal controls across procurement, inventory, billing, and cash management.
• Collaborate across manufacturing, ERP, and corporate F&A teams to align processes and reporting.
