Adient plc, a global automotive seating leader, seeks a Financial Analyst at the Greenfield facility. The role supports plant financial activities, GL accounting, month-end close, and cost allocations while ensuring internal controls and SOX compliance.

Collaboration with commercial teams and audit support are key components of the job. The ideal candidate has a accounting degree and 2+ years of manufacturing finance experience, with strong Excel skills and ERP exposure (SAP/HFM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years financial analyst experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Extensive use of Excel to summarize financial data and present to non-financial audience.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP & HFM are a plus) and payroll systems (ADP is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support plant financial activities including GL accounting and reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end closing, including manual journal entries and cost allocations.
• Maintain internal controls and SOX documentation; support audits.
• Reconcile intercompany activity with trading partners; monitor receivables and payables.
• Support fixed asset tracking (CAR to CIP to Assets Register) and inventory controls.
