Job summary

CFS in Rochester, Indiana, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Accountant to support the accounting team during the SAP to NetSuite transition. This role focuses on backlogged activities, reconciliations, and GL cleanup in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform intercompany reconciliations, prepare journal entries, review accruals and fixed assets, and assist with WIP and inventory reconciliations. Proficiency in Excel and the ability to learn new systems quickly are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong manufacturing accounting background required.
• Experience with general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations is essential.
• Ability to learn new accounting systems quickly and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform intercompany reconciliations related to the SAP-to-NetSuite transition.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and fixed asset transactions.
• Reconcile general ledger and subledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Trace transactions through the general ledger to ensure accuracy and proper balances.
• Assist with manufacturing accounting activities, including WIP and inventory reconciliations.
• Review and clean up historical accounting transactions and outstanding balances.
• Utilize Excel, including pivot tables and formulas, to analyze data and support reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close activities and other accounting projects as needed.
