Pro Resources is seeking a Temporary Accounting Clerk for a client in Rochester, IN. This contract position runs through the end of January and is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who can independently investigate discrepancies, resolve complex reconciliations, and assist with month-end close activities.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing accounting experience, hands‑on NetSuite experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work with ERP conversions and system

Qualifications

• Senior‑level accounting experience with month‑end close and complex reconciliations.
• Manufacturing accounting experience is required.
• Experience with inventory accounting, WIP, standard costing, and GL reconciliations.
• Hands‑on NetSuite experience preferred.
• ERP conversions, system implementations, or accounting cleanup projects.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to trace transactions through the GL.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, including determining corrections and preparing journal entries.
• Review and reconcile manufacturing accounts (inventory, WIP, standard costing, WOs).
• Reconcile and clean up opening balances after ERP conversion.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate GL/subledger differences.
• Review NetSuite transactions and account mappings to resolve posting discrepancies.
• Assist with month‑end close activities (journal entries, accruals, prepaid, amortization, fixed assets).
• Review revenue and project costs for proper accounting treatment.
• Complete intercompany account reconciliations.
• Document accounting adjustments and provide guidance to the accounting team.
• Collaborate with leadership to resolve outstanding issues.
