Job summary

Saint‑Gobain North America is launching an 18‑month Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) program to develop engineers into leaders for Manufacturing 4.0. Participants will join a full‑time role at a single plant for 18 months with quarterly travel to other North American sites, balancing local project work (80%) with program activities (20%).

The role includes capital project support, Lean/Six Sigma process improvements, SOP development, KPI reporting, and reliability enhancements, with potential

Qualifications

• B.S. in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical etc.)
• Internship experience in manufacturing or professional setting is a plus
• Valid passport required for international travel to Canada

Responsibilities

• Providing engineering support for site process improvements.
• Supporting safety/sustainability initiatives at the plant.
• Implementing new automation processes at the site.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.
