Responsibilities

• Supply workstations with raw materials, external supplies, packaging or parts.
• Collect and pick up finished and semi-finished parts with traceability.
• Ensure continuity of the manufacturing process and report disruptions.
• Maintain parts quality during handling and proper inspection/packaging.
• Maintain traceability records.
• Keep the workshop organized and assist in its arrangement.
• May assist in repackaging or unloading supplier lorries as needed.
• Ensure personal and colleagues' safety and keep the workstation clean.
• May help induct new members or replace a machine operator as required.

SKILLS PROFILE

Qualifications and Experience:

Literacy skills and numeracy proficiency in local language.

Professional abilities:

• Communication skills, literacy and numeracy skills, good understanding of field-related documentation, responsiveness, service culture, teamwork, organization skills and autonomy;
• Basic computer knowledge would be an asset.

Technical knowledge:

Forklift proficiency certificate is an asset.

MAIN MISSIONS

She/he is responsible for supplying workstations with raw materials, external supplies, packaging or parts. She/he is also entrusted with the collection and pick-up of finished and semi-finished parts, while ensuring their traceability.

Delivery Process

• Supply and clear the workstations and machines in compliance with the production planning;
• Ensure the continuity of the manufacturing process to prevent machine stops and report to her/his supervisor in case of disruption;
• Responsible for maintaining the parts' quality during the handling and for the proper inspection and identification of products' packaging;
• Ensure the traceability process by maintaining records;
• Maintains the workshop organized;
• Contributes to the arrangement of the workshop (trash bins, waste containers…);
• May have to take part in the repackaging of products, depending on the organisation;
• May have to unload suppliers' lorries, depending on the organisation;
• Ensure personal and colleagues' safety;
• Maintain her/his workstation clean and tidy;
• May have to contribute in the induction of a new member at her/his workstation;
• May have to replace a machine operator, depending on the organization;
