Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals seeks an experienced Manual Bridge Mill Machinist / Gantry Mill Machinist to set up and operate large-format bridge mills, performing precision milling and boring on heavy structural components. You will read complex blueprints, GD&T, and inspect parts with precision tools while managing overhead crane operations.

Full-time position with 6a-4p or 7a-5p shifts and optional Saturday overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large-format bridge mills for structural components.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
• Overhead crane and rigging knowledge; safety-focused operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual bridge mills for large workpieces.
• Perform precision milling and boring to tight specs.
• Inspect in-process and final work using precision tools.
• Read blueprints and GD&T; ensure conformance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot feed and spindle systems.
