Job summary

DBM Global is seeking a CNC/Machine Operator to support fabrication of steel for commercial buildings and bridges in a hands-on environment. You will read blueprints, set up and run CNC machinery, and use overhead cranes or magnets to move heavy materials safely.

The role requires basic math, adherence to safety rules and ability to perform routine maintenance. This is an on-site, full-time position with opportunities for growth within a leading structural fabricator.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; plus 12 months of experience or completion of a related vocational training.
• Familiarity with CNC machines, Plasma Arc cutting and punching equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret shop documents.
• Knowledge of safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Ability to use math and measurements across units.

Responsibilities

• Layout, read, interpret blueprints, shop drawings and other company documents.
• Operates heavy steel fabrication machinery as required.
• Load/unload materials using overhead crane or magnet.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and machine cleaning.
• Troubleshoot, mark and stamp materials; locate parts and supplies.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements; work with standard procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
