Job summary

NYU Langone Health's NYU Grossman School of Medicine in Manhattan seeks a Physician Assistant for the Emergency Department. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive medical care, perform therapeutic and prescriptive duties, and support the clinical team under supervision.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Bachelor's Degree (BA-PA).
• Current New York State Physician Assistant License.
• NCCPA Board Certification.
• Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate and assure comprehensive medical care in the Emergency Department.
• Prescribe medications and medical devices per state law and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing and other disciplines to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain certification and CME requirements and participate in professional development.
