Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is seeking an interpreter to facilitate services for patients and families speaking multiple languages. You will provide interpretation (spoken and sight translation) of pre‑operative, post‑operative, discharge instructions, and education materials, ensuring accurate, culturally sensitive communication.

Responsibilities include documenting encounters, coordinating interpreters, answering calls, and helping LEP patients navigate hospital

Qualifications

• Provide interpretation services and coordinate with interpreters to accommodate requests.
• Keep accurate documentation of interpretation encounters.
• Assist with scheduling interpreters and appointment reminders.
• Navigate LEP patients to hospital services and forms.
• Travel to multiple Mass Eye and Ear locations within Boston.
